Yucatan Pennisula, Mexico
People who have been on this trip pretty much tell us it's the best trip they have every been on. That's impressive given that many of our clients have traveled the world.
This is a hosted trip through the fly shop. Here's the trip in a nutshell:
- Day 1 - Fly to Cancun and spend the first night in Akumal
- Day 2 - Drive to the very southern most point of the Yucatan Pennisula to a small village of about 200 people. We have a beach hotel on the Caribbean
- Day 3 through 7 - Fish the next 5 days with three very good, knowledgeable English speaking Mexican guides. Days typically start at 7:30 AM and back for cocktail hour at 4:00 PM.
- Day 8 - Travel to Cancun for a commercial flight home.
The lodging consist of a luxury four unit hotel on the sands of the Caribbean. The hotel has a full restaurant and bar. We will also dine out at one of the best restaurants around.
2012 Hosted Trip Rates:
$2395 per angler based on double occupancy
Includes:
- Transportation from Cancun, lodging, guide fees, meals
- 7 nights lodging, 5 days guided fly fishing
- Does not include fly fishing equipment and supplies, gratituities for guides and staff, alcohol
