Troutwater Fly Shop staff and Guide Service guides pride themselves on having knowledge of the local waters and being able to provide useful advice to any and all anglers.

We hope you will find the fly shop in downtown Cle Elum and Ellensburg to be inviting, friendly and comfortable. The shops emphasize having everything a person needs to enjoy the local waters of the Yakima River, Central/Eastern Washington and beyond.

Troutwater Guide Service is second to none when it comes to professional experienced guides. We have worked very hard developing the most experienced hard working guide staff in Central and Eastern Washington. Most of the faces you see at Troutwater are very familiar because we have had no turnover from the previous years. All 8 of our guides make their living guiding, full time. Troutwater's full time guide staff doesn't consist of any part timers, college students or summer jobs. We guarantee your day on the river with any and all of our guides.
