Upper Yakima River Clean-Up: Saturday, November 3, 2007

Join us for a fun day of river clean up and fly fishing. 

The fly shop is organizing an upper Yakima river clean up from Ensign Ranch to the diversion dam.  The Kittitas County Solid Waste Program is donating trash bags, recycle bins and the transfer station fee.  At the end of the day we will be having a BBQ at Whispering Pines RV Park in Cle Elum.  We are also planning a slide show program highlighting the 2007 fly fishing season on the Yakima.

Who:
ô Individual volunteers
ô Volunteers with drift boats
ô Volunteers with trucks for transporting garbage
ô Volunteers to help shuttle vehicles
When:
ô 9:00 AM, Saturday, November 3.  Coffee and donuts, pick-up garbage bags, find a drift boat, get a section of river to clean and fish.
ô 4:00 PM. Meet back at the East Cle Elum boat launch with garbage.
ô 5:00 PM.  BBQ dinner and slide show program at the Whispering Pines RV Park.
Where:
ô Meet at the East Cle Elum Boat launch at the junction of Hwy 903 and 10.
