Introduction to Fly Fishing

From the "A" in Adams in to the "Z" in zinger, the full day class reviews the basics of fly fishing.  Intended for the beginner, the class explores:

• Selecting the proper gear

• Understanding fly fishing equipment

• Basics of tying knots

• Introduction to casting

• Casting practice

• Entomology and fly patterns that imitate

• Reading water, releasing fish and fly fishing ethics

The course is held the first Saturday of every month from 9 AM to 4 PM with a 30 minute lunch break.  The cost is $70 and a textbook is included.

The course is limited to six participants.  To get the most from the class, it is highly recommend that participants take one of our fly casting lessons prior to the class.
